Saltstone Yoga & Wellness

Born in the mountains. Built for every body.

Saltstone is not a yoga studio.

It's a sanctuary for nervous system repair, grounded strength, and personal reset.

Built for the Snowy Mountains community.

Traditional Hatha
$22.00

TRADITIONAL HATHA

The foundation practice - discipline, structure, and breath, done properly.

Traditional Hatha is a grounded, classical approach to yoga: postures held with attention, breath used deliberately, and sequencing built to develop strength, stability and control over time. It draws on established teaching lineage rather than trend, this is yoga as it was designed to be taught, not a fitness class wearing a yoga name.

Each class builds structure through repetition and correct technique, developing not just physical strength but focus and steadiness of mind. It's demanding in the way that matters, the kind of discipline that carries into how you move and how you handle pressure off the mat.

Suitable for all levels. Beginners are taught proper foundations from day one; experienced practitioners will find depth in the details.

The Recovery Room
$22.00

THE RECOVERY ROOM

This isn't a stretch class. It's maintenance for the body you actually use.

Skating, boarding, labouring, lifting, standing all day, chasing the mountain in winter and the trail in summer, none of it forgives a body that never gets serviced. The Recovery Room is where you undo what the week did to you: fascia work, foam rolling, guided breath, structured stillness. No poses to perform, no flexibility to prove. Just the work your body's been waiting on.

Sessions run hands-on and no-nonsense, targeted release, proper recovery technique, real time given to the parts that are locked up and staying that way. And when the formal session ends, the room stays open. Stay flat on the mat. Talk. Refill your tea. That part's not an add-on, it's the point.

Tuesday nights: Men's Recovery Room. Built for the ones who need it most and show up least.

One-on-ones available if you'd rather start private.

Stay in the game all season.

Yin Yoga
$22.00

YIN YOGA

A practice of stillness, held with intention.

Yin Yoga uses long-held postures, typically three to five minutes, sometimes longer to work deeply into the body's connective tissue and fascia, areas that faster-paced movement rarely reaches. The stillness is deliberate: it gives the nervous system time to move out of a stressed, activated state and into genuine rest.

This is not a passive class. Holding a posture for several minutes takes focus and patience, and the benefits go beyond flexibility improved joint mobility, reduced tension, and a nervous system reset that carries into the rest of your week.

No experience necessary. All bodies and ability levels welcome.

Guided Stillness is included with every Yin class, no separate booking required.
